Technical description
We offer a wide range of products with different properties, which can be applied to false roofs (in airports, offices, etc.), irrespective of whether they are made from steel, aluminium, wood, etc., while fulfilling the two essential requirements for this application: acoustic and flame-resistant properties.
Absorbing incident sound and noise increases the comfort level of those people who are inside a building. At present, the absorption coefficient in a reverberant chamber can be measured using European standard UNE-EN 20354 or American standard ASTM C-423. This absorption coefficient (α) determines what percentage of incident sound is absorbed by the non-woven fabric.
As well as being phonoabsorbent, the non-woven fulfils the European standard on the Fire Reaction Classification, which is currently applicable in the sector; Euroclase UNE EN 13501-1:2002. This non-woven is also fully guaranteed for use in all kinds of civilian constructions.
This test includes the EN ISO 11925-2:2002 and EN 13823:2002 Standards, which assess multiple aspects of the product’s reaction to fire, such as heat release, smoke production or flame propagation. In all these aspects, the TEFISA products provide optimum results.
And since technology and design can go hand in hand, we can offer a certified product in any colour so that your office is safe, comfortable and also modern.
All the products are available with or without adhesive, and can be delivered in reels to be applied continuously, or in pieces to be applied directly, unit by unit, to each roof.
