Last March 10th of 2012, the President of Catalonia, Right Honourable Mr. Artur Mas visited TEFISA facilities, which was a great honour for the entire team of the company.

The President was received by Mr. Evarist Murtra (President of Industrias Murtra Group), Mr. Ricard Huguet (Chairman of the Board of Directors), Mr. Prudenci Molas (General Director of TEFISA and IMS), and other members of the Board of Directors of the company, Mr. Antonio Redón and Mr. Josep Prats.

Piera’s Mayor, Illustrious Mr. Jaume S. Guixà and members of the town council, also visited TEFISA, to accompany the President during the visit to our facilities.

After the welcome, the Right Honourable Mr. Artur Mas, was accompanied to the office where he was introduced to the rest of the steering committee of the company.

Mr. Prudenci Molas explained the products that Tefisa manufactures and sells to all those present.

Later an Industrias Murtra presentation and TEFISA’s situation in the Group was also shown to all the authorities.

Next the delegation made ​a tour of the production facilities, where the Right Honourable Mr. Artur Mas saw the manufacturing process of the different products we make.

The event finished with the speeches of Mr. Evarist Murtra, the Illustrious Mr. Jaume S. Guixà and the Right Hon. Mr. Mas.

Mr. Murtra thanked the authorities for the visit and the Right Hon. Mr. Mas congratulated all the staff for the work done so far and encouraged us to continue with the same enthusiasm and keep overcoming the current global economic situation.
